This beer is boldly malty with notes of toffee, caramel, and aggressive but balanced noble hop bitterness. With a sweet, yet dry finish that accentuates the hint of oak and apple brandy that finishes out this American Barleywine, you'll barely notice the 13.2% strength. But be careful, it will still pack a bite just as noteworthy as the namesake.
