This light and refreshing lager features a nice malty backbone with just enough hops to balance it out, but not finish bitter, and is light enough to enjoy in these hot Arkansas summers! We named this beer Highfill American Lager to celebrate our local community and Arkansas farmers who put food on our tables and of course make delicious beer possible! Arkansas is the biggest producer of rice in the United States, and rice is the key to making this lager so light and refreshing!
This traditional German style wheat beer is known for its unique yeast flavors of banana and clove, which pair nicely with the light wheat flavors from the grains. This beer is named after White Rock Mountain, which is a hub for nature lovers all over the Natural State and beyond!
Our pale ale features a traditional medium bodied malt backbone with a notable hop presence both in bitterness and flavor! We used a hearty handful of Chinook and Simcoe hops to provide that traditional pine and resin pale ale flavor and aroma, and we liked it so much we decided to dry hop it as well! This beer is named after Sentinel Pine, a majestic landmark in northwest Arkansas that is smack dab in the middle of some of the finest nature areas in the state!
Everyone loves a good west coast IPA, and for good reason! We decided to lighten the color and body of ours just a bit and give it a hefty dose of New Zealand Hops in the form of Rakau, Moteuka, and Galaxy for a touch of tropical fruitiness on top of that normal hop bitterness. Like our IPA, Icebox cave is a refreshing break while hiking on the trails in Devils Den State Park!
This refreshing european style beer is marked by its low ABV, delicious malty and biscuity flavors, all topped off by a lightly roasty and dry finish that leaves you wanting more! Though edging into the medium bodied realm it is still an easy drinking ale that is sure to satisfy! This beers namesake, Hemmed-In Hollow, is a beautiful landmark to reward those who make the effort to get there. If you can catch it when the water is running, this eye-catching waterfall is even better!
For this beer we have taken a turn to the dark side! Our Oatmeal Stout features flavors such as chocolate, coffee, and stone fruits from the dark and roasty malts that also give it its rich dark
color. Old Mill, found in TR Pugh Memorial Park, is featured in the opening scenes of Gone with the Wind, and is believed to be the last standing building from the movie. This malty yet smooth lager is a traditional German Märzen with a hint of sweetness and a dry finish leaving you craving more! The beautiful amber color with ruby highlights hints at the fall leaves starting to show their stuff all over the natural state, but nowhere better than Hawksbill Crag!
This golden, light bodied Belgian ale may be beautiful and tame on the outside...But take a sip and you will be hit with a huge bouquet of floral hop notes and fruity esters from the belgian yeast; add that to the 9.5% ABV then you’ve really got the tiger by the tail with this beer! Named after the Turpentine Creek animal refuge which takes in and cares for large cats and other animals in need of a home. A portion of the proceeds from this beer will go to support Turpentine Creek’s cause.
This dark lager is rich and malty with many of the flavor notes you expect from a stout, such as chocolate and hints of coffee, but with a light lager body and a hint of spices from the Saaz hops. This gem of a brew is named after the Crater of Diamonds state park, located in central AR, where visitors can hunt for diamonds and keep what they find!
Dry, refreshing, and with the aroma and flavor of summer flowers and fruit, this delicious beer is perfect for sipping on the banks of the Buffalo, the King, the Arkansas, or any of the other scenic rivers located in the Natural State. Perfect to take with you on your next float trip... or to the kiddy pool in the backyard, we won’t judge.
Also referred to as a farmhouse style, this French/Belgian inspired beer is known for it’s unique malt profile, assertive hop bitterness, and delightful floral and fruit notes derived from the yeast! Aux Arc (pronounced “Oh Zar”) isn’t just a town in Arkansas, it’s the name the French explorers in Arkansas used to refer to this entire region (particularly the biggest bend in the Arkansas river), and the origin of the word “Ozark,” which is still in use today!
“La Fille en Feu,” which translates to “Girl on Fire,” is the perfect name for our habanero Saison. The French explored much of Arkansas starting in 1673, and many landmarks bear the mark of
that influence all over the Natural State. With this beer we started with our traditional Saison and kicked it up a notch with habanero peppers, which add bright citrus notes and just the right amount of burn, without making you feel like you are actually on fire!
Our Cream Ale, which is the ancestor to the very popular American Lager, offers a light body with subtle maltiness made smooth and creamy by the corn in the mash. Lightly hopped and with the aroma and flavor or bright citrus from orange peels added prior to packaging, this crushable beer is perfect to relax at the end of a hot day!
